Greenland: The Great Cold - Imago Mundi
Contemporary Artists from Greenland
Imago Mundi - Luciano Benetton Collection
Texts by Luciano Benetton, Guja Mabellini, Ivaaq Kriegel
The Imago Mundi collection dedicated to Greenland – 137 10x12 cm works – ideally integrates ancient and new inspirations, taking us on a journey through a world on the edge of our world. A visual itinerary through the great adventure of ice as deep and as pure as infinity, polar nights illuminated by the stars, the magic of nature, the reality of men, the mystery of life.
Greenland: The Great Cold. Contemporary Artists from Greenland is an Imago Mundi collection, a cultural, democratic, global, non-profit project, promoted by Luciano Benetton with the aim of creating the widest possible mapping of the different contemporary artistic experiences of our world. In Imago Mundi, each country is represented by the works of established artists and new talents, commissioned with the maximum freedom of expression, whose only constraint is the 10x12 cm format.
